Let’s be honest, Early Access wasn’t just about adding features. It was a massive learning experience, packed with challenges and triumphs. We wanted to cram everything into Rail Route (we love this game as much as you do!), but there’s that pesky thing called reality (aka budgets) to consider. So, we focused on what mattered most, and we think we’ve hit the sweet spot.

The challenge of making our tutorials more effective was met head-on with live user testing, leading to significant improvements in how we tell the story of Jozic and introduce players to the game. We refined the onboarding process and ensured that the Rail Route was as welcoming and accessible as possible.

✅ Clear Progression

We revamped the game progression by organizing upgrades into a clear, tiered system, making it easier for players to identify their next objectives.

✅ Easy of Use

Our focus on simplifying game controls, alongside implementing automatic track laying has made managing your railway empire more intuitive. No more impossible connections and track layouts – we’ve allowed all switch configurations, recognizing the struggles you faced and eliminating those frustrations.

✅ Clean UI/UX

We recognized the importance of the UI and have worked to integrate more interactions directly into the gameplay area, where your trains and tracks live. Sensors configuration is streamlined in your network.

✅ Audio-visual Immersion

We upgraded graphics, lighting, and visual effects, creating an immersive gaming experience like no other. We’ve enriched the audiovisual experience with top-notch sound and music design.

Moreover, ve’ve innovatively linked the music to your gameplay speed and flow. Keep your train network running smoothly at a constant pace, and the music will enhance your experience, rewarding your efficiency with satisfying tunes. However, slowing down the game will adjust the music accordingly, adding a playful challenge to maintain your rhythm and strategy.
